In Russia, they reproduce the LGBT (forbidden) flag with soccer jerseys

In Russia, on the occasion of the Football World Cup, 6 activists for the rights of the LGBTQ community have reproduced the rainbow flag ... with football jerseys.

If the Russia is, at this moment, the land of football on the occasion of the World Cup, you are not unaware that the government of Putin is formally against the LGBTQ community. In 2013, Russia published a law condemns protests for homosexuality, to the most obvious symbols like the rainbow flag. So, you can imagine, when it comes to to assert the rights of the LGBTQ community in Russiait's important to do it with one touch of subtlety... and therefore creativity!

And the idea we are going to talk about today on this subject is absolutely brilliant. Because on the occasion of World Cup in Russia, the association FELGTBwho fights for the rights of the community LGBTQ, launched the operation "The Hidden Flag". Six activists have come together to reproduce in a subtle way the colors of the rainbow flag, simply wearing soccer jerseys from different countries.

Several snapshots were captured in the streets of Moscow staging our six activists, who seemingly look like classic supporters of Spain, the Netherlands, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and finally Colombia.

An absolutely brilliant idea that reminds everyone the importance of fighting for LGBTQ rightsin a country like Russia, totally closed on the subject. And finally, what better timing than the Football World Cup to do it ? We invite you to visit the website of the operation "The Hidden Flag" to learn more about the subject.
